{"id":792,"date":"2013-07-10T00:59:02","date_gmt":"2013-07-10T00:59:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.blessedinthemess.com\/blog\/?p=792"},"modified":"2013-07-10T00:59:02","modified_gmt":"2013-07-10T00:59:02","slug":"every-place-has-its-beauty","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.blessedinthemess.com\/blog\/every-place-has-its-beauty\/","title":{"rendered":"Every place has it&#8217;s beauty."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A week or so ago my\u00a0 running crew and I were stretching after our morning 5 miler when an nice older gentleman came walking by us and started a conversation.\u00a0 He was visiting family in town but was from Utah or Montana (I can&#8217;t remember which one for some reason).\u00a0 I said to him something a long the lines of, &#8220;We don&#8217;t have as good of views as you do out there!&#8221;\u00a0 He smiled and replied, <strong>&#8220;every place has it&#8217;s beauty&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.blessedinthemess.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Picture-141.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-793 aligncenter\" alt=\"Picture 141\" src=\"http:\/\/www.blessedinthemess.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Picture-141.jpg\" width=\"355\" height=\"355\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.blessedinthemess.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Picture-141.jpg 1936w, http:\/\/www.blessedinthemess.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Picture-141-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.blessedinthemess.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Picture-141-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 355px) 100vw, 355px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have always thought that I do not belong in Illinois.\u00a0 I belong in the mountains, in the forest, somewhere where I can hike every day and just be surrounded by nature constantly. Not here in boring old Illinois.\u00a0 But the man was right, Oswego sure does have it&#8217;s beauty.\u00a0 It might not be surrounded by gigantic mountains or state parks, but it is beautiful all the same.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.blessedinthemess.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Picture-142.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-794 aligncenter\" alt=\"Picture 142\" src=\"http:\/\/www.blessedinthemess.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Picture-142.jpg\" width=\"338\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.blessedinthemess.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Picture-142.jpg 1440w, http:\/\/www.blessedinthemess.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Picture-142-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.blessedinthemess.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Picture-142-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.blessedinthemess.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Picture-142-1024x1024.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 338px) 100vw, 338px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sometimes we spend so much time wishing to be on the greener grass on the other side, that we miss our own beautiful landscape.\u00a0 There has been many times, that I am in awe of the beauty that sits just outside my house.\u00a0 The gorgeous sunrise, the beautiful river and the rustic small town I adore so much.\u00a0 Every place you go has it&#8217;s own beauty, but how often do you stop and appreciate it?\u00a0 I may be envious of my friends living in Colorado, Norway or San Fran but who is to say they are not envious of Oswego, IL?
